Morbi comes out in force

Twenty of Morbi's leading
ceramic manufacturers have already committed to exhibiting
at Morbi 2006, and with a further 43 also currently
in discussion, not only will suppliers benefit from
all the region's manufacturers visiting the event,
but also from those leading companies that will be
exhibiting under the same roof. In turn, this is having
an already exciting knock-on effect for international
visitors, with buyers and outsourcers from some of
the world's leading tile and sanitaryware companies
from Europe, South East Asia and North America also
committing to attending. The presence of so many potential
customers
Recent television coverage of the event, following
a press conference by Asian Ceramics on the 18 November,
has raised the profile of the event to a national
level. The Indian Government has now invited Asian
Ceramics managing editor, Andy Skillen, to come to
India to speak about Morbi in the build-up to the
Republic Day celebrations in January at a high profile
gathering of government officials and the Chief Minister
Mr. Narendra Modi. Morbi is getting itself ready for
what will be a truly unique exhibition, and as the
event gathers momentum, the wider world is now focusing
its attention the region.
