Morbi takes major
ICCTAS role - October 25th
The Gujarat Body of the Indian Council of Ceramics
Tiles & Sanitaryware (ICCTAS), the apex body of
the Indian tile manufacturers has elected Mr Girishbhai
Petapara, Chairman, Decolight Ceramics Ltd (based
in Morbi) as its new chairman. This is the first time
a Gujarat-based tile manufacturer has been elected
at the helm of the apex council of ceramic manufacturers
in the country. The outgoing chairman, Mr Vijay Aggarwal
passed the baton to Mr Girish Pethapara at the ICCTAS
Board Meeting held on September 23, 2005 in New Delhi.
Mr Girishbhai Pethapara will be the chairman of ICCTAS
for the year 2005-2006.
