Morbi gets gas go-ahead! - November 9th 2006 (page 3)

GSPCL, through GSPL, has already signed gas transportation agreements with Essar Group, Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd, Gujarat Electricity Board, Gujarat Narmada Fertilisers Company Ltd, Videocon Narmada, and the Gujarat State Fertilisers Corporation.

Once its gas grid is ready, GSPL also envisages supplying gas to clients such as Narmada Chemataur Petrochemicals, Ahmedabad Electricity Company Ltd, Arvind Mills, IFFCO and for city distribution in Vadodara and Ahmedabad.

GSPL is the first company in India to offer gas transportation services on a 'common carrier and open access' basis.

Already, as from two suppliers including GSPCL and Cairns Energy are being transported through GSPL's network.
